What's so bad about it? Can you compare other Computer manufacturers' laptop with this in 1992. The PowerBook was light years ahead.
 

And don't forget, Apple invented the modern laptop layout with the keys near the screen and palm rests and pointing device below - that was revolutionary at the time.
 

The powerbook was the only product at the time apple did right. The thing is they kinda squandered it until the titanium powerbook. The add points out the all the good press they were getting at the time. IF they would have realized that laptops were the way to go back then they may not have gotten in to a deep hole that steve had to dig them out of.
