How to easily join HD MP4 files from an HD Camcorder
I like
Vimeo a lot. I also like my new
Samsung HMX-10 HD camcorder. But uploading clips one by one was not the best solution. And using Quicktime to join files took way to long. Luckily the free
MPEG Streamclip came to the rescue.
You can simply drag multiple MP4 files into this app, and just do a "Save As.." to get a new MP4 with all your clips joined together. This is much quicker than re-exporting them and keeps the original quality. The jump cuts do suffer from some choppy audio cuts, but you could then take that large file into another app or just live with it (compared to having to play multiple files one by one once uploaded to Vimeo..)
